Eat out for the cost of cooking

It is as cheap to eat out as it is to cook for yourself. I eat out about twice a week and yet for less than a fiver.
I try different venues and they are all great, you don’t have to pay the Earth. A lot of these pub meals are well worth having.
You see on television all these cooks, it takes them ages to cook a meal and when it is ready it costs a fortune, sometimes as much as £15.
And when you see it on your plate, I could demolish it in less than five minutes.
Just a little bit of this and a little bit of that they call it presentation – it is hardly a starter for me.
I like something substantial. Of course we all enjoy our Sunday dinner – that is the best meal of the week.
Every Sunday I go down the club. When I cycle home, the aroma coming from the houses it makes me pedal a little quicker.
Apart from Sunday lunch what comes second place is the good old faggots, chips and mushy peas.
As I’ve said before, you don’t have to pay the Earth. All in all, I do eat sensibly.
